I can't praise The Falcon Inn highly enough. The caring customer service we received reflect the high standard of a successful small business. The quality and service of the food was excellent and when we had a problem with our room, it was dealt with efficiently and to our satisfaction.
Absolutely wonderful Sunday Lunch for Father’s Day. Roast Beef dinner was delicious & the Butternut squash risotto, finished off with Twix & Malteser cheesecake again which was delicious. Just wanted to say thank you especially for our 2 year old little girl who has an egg allergy & they looked after her amazingly!
Stopped by for late Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Would probably rate the roast dinner as one of the best pub roasts I've had. They catered for gluten free with ease and the chefs gf Yorkshire puddings were so good I had to question the fantastic waitress in case there had been a mistake.
Stopped here for food only and had one of the most tasty burgers that I've had for a long time. Great food and friendly attentive service. Would certainly recommend if you're in the area.
Wow. What a lovely place. The rooms are beautifully finished. The food cannot be faulted and the staff are so helpful and cheerful. Brilliant weekend and would definitely come again. It is perfectly situated to tour around North Yorkshire on the East coast and surrounding area.
Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinner. Catered for a large group of 13. Everyone was blown away by the generous portions and the beef was cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in every element of the food was impressive. Best Sunday dinner I've had! I had the vegetarian cutlet which was delicious. Service fantastic and very attentive. Planning my next visit.
We called in on spec to ask if we could bring our dog in for a lunchtime bite and were made very welcome. There were dog treats ready in a jar! There is a comfortable area set aside for Dogs and owners. Great menu, I had the homemade steak pie. Delicious. I've had steaks with less steak in them, and the pastry was excellent. C had the Stroganov. Superb! Not cheap, but well worth the little extra for real home cooked food. Highly recommended!
We had an truly lovely evening meal. Great, friendly atmosphere, excellent service. The food looked fabulous and was delicious, couldn't fault it! They welcome dogs and the toilets are very clean and nice to use. Lots of attention to detail in decor, water and biscuits for dogs etc.
